The children who come to stay at the Lancaster Campus are often extremely fragile. Employees concentrate on gaining each child’s trust as they engage them throughout every aspect of their day — residence, play, therapy, and school. In addition to having the only adventure education physical challenge course, the Lancaster Campus has a NYPUM (National Youth Project Using Minibikes) program. Students from all four programs and the Lancaster School participate in the program, which uses the exciting incentive of riding minibikes as a catalyst for mentoring and reinforcing good behavior.
