Per Diem counselors are asked to work as needed within the program setting when a Residential Counselor is on vacation or is unable to work.
*Per Diem counselors have the opportunity to move into a full time role when positions become available*
The Cape Cod STARR Program was established in 2004 as a safe and comfortable environment for adolescents in DCF care. The program offers adolescents a secure environment to provide short-term assessments as well as stabilization services. The program has the capacity to serve 12 coed adolescents and serves youths between the ages of 12-17. This program provides services to the Cape Cod and Islands Office of the Department of Children and Families.
